Hi-Fi

Vintage Hi-Fi is having a moment, but that usually means 1970s electronics. 100 years ago, the Victor Victrola was the definition of Hi-Fi. For enthusiasts who love these machines (that play 78s), there's lots to love. Built as durable pieces of furniture, the phonographs were manufactured with hardwoods and rich veneers in order to fit in with their interior surroundings. The tonearms (the things that amplified the sound from the needle to the speaker) featured graceful curves and beautiful chrome metal finishes. But the tonearms and turntables were always tucked away, hidden under cover inside the furnishings. Not anymore. I sourced a number of authentic Victrola parts; notice the worn felt along the perimeter of the 78 where fingers would have lifted the records....now the player can be displayed on your wall to enjoy looking at all the time.

Dimensions:
20.5” tall x 19” wide x 6.5” deep

Medium:
Wood, Metal, Shellac, Felt
