Ball and Stick
Looking like a cross between mid-century modern art and a three-dimensional molecule model, this wall sculpture appears mechanical yet organic at the same time. A selection of wooden foundry patterns (the large top mold appears to be a train or pulley wheel) are joined together with steel rods that snake in and around each other. The wood molds retain their original painted colors from their life back in the foundry.
Medium:
Wood Foundry Molds
Steel Rod
Dimensions:
45.5” tall x 17.5” wide x 4” deep
