Ball's Pyramid
Ball's Pyramid is an islet off the coast of Brisbane, Australia. It's the eroded plug of a shield volcano and is the tallest volcanic stack in the world. I happened upon a section of driftwood whose tip bore a surreal likeness to this rocky islet. Appreciate the driftwood's nooks and crannies, produced by the ebb and flow of ocean tides. A natural phenomenon as interesting as the volcanic stack itself!
Medium:
Driftwood
Dimensions:
21" tall x 12" width x 7" deep
