Spelunking

$1,200.00

Starting out as a casual chunk of driftwood, the piece was sliced into 1/2" thick sections and reassembled in the spiral pattern you see here. The interior nooks give the appearance of subterranean caves, hence the name of this piece. This is the second driftwood work in what I hope to be a continuing series. Since each piece of wood is unique, the possibilities for visual expression are boundless. The sculpture rotates on a steel rod so you have complete control on the final presentation. No matter how you look at it, EVERY angle offers rewarding views.

Medium:
Driftwood, Walnut, Steel

Dimensions:
21” tall x 14” wide x 14” deep
