Going Up?
This fabulous indicator light plate came from a vintage elevator. Not knowing which direction it was originally used for, let's be positive and assume it was going up. The faceplate is made from solid stainless steel and is quite heavy. I made a fine mahogany box to house it and added a piece of frosted white acrylic for the illumination. Four (included) warm white candelabra bulbs provide the light source, but any colored bulb would work depending on your preference.
