This black and red wooden foundry pattern is almost a work of art just on its own. Its shape, lines, and top red section complement each other in an unusual but pleasing configuration. I added the piece of driftwood in the bottom tray section to give the work some added interest. It also goes without saying that the driftwood looks like the Rock of Gibraltar. This combination of wood engineered by man with wood in its natural state makes for an interesting juxtaposition.
