To the average viewer, wooden foundry molds are looked upon as something "interesting". From an artistic perspective, vintage wood patterns offer terrific promise, but only until an idea or concept comes to light. In the case of this beautiful 8-spoked hub, I went through 10 iterations until realizing it needed to be showcased just on its own. Here is an example of where the simplest solution to a problem ended up taking the longest.
